Presented in partnership with Folknet, Music in the Valley is an opportunity to enjoy local musicians playing their banjos, guitars, and fiddles. Guests are welcome to stop and listen to the musicians as they tour the grounds, and can enjoy tasting wines from select Ohio based wineries.

This years event is expanding with later hours, a larger tented area, more food vendors and wineries and wine education seminars sponsored by The WineBuzz Magazine. A wine and cheese pairing seminar will be at 2:00pm daily, and sensory tasting 101 at 4:00pm daily (tasting charges apply). In addition to the casual performances throughout the day, stage performances will be presented each afternoon with support from Voices in the Valley/The G.A.R. Hall.

All regular museum exhibits and demonstrations are open to the public during the festival 10am- 5pm daily. Hale Farm & Village showcases 90 acres of historic structures, farm animals, gardens and early American craft and trade demonstrations, including glassblowing, blacksmithing, broom-making and weaving.

$10 adults; $5 youth 3-12; members free
Wine tastings are $10 for a glass and 5 tickets (good for one tasting each). The tasting area will open at 11:00am. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.

The Wine Walk & Chef Tasting is a tasting extravaganza in the exquisite gardens of Kingwood.

You will get seven (7) wine tasting tickets, 4 (four) chef’s tasting tickets, and a commemorative glass (while supplies last)!

We also have Kokoborrego Cheese Co. and Squirrel’s Den, and to offer gourmet treats to pair with your tastings, and a raffle basket full of gifts from our participants.

Come & enjoy this fun Chocolate Truffle Making Party in this inviting & cozy winery! Bring your friends or come on your own and join us on Thursday, May 25th, for a fun evening together!
Only 21 and over, please.

Enjoy being treated to a complimentary glass of yummy wine & cheese & crackers by this beautiful winery. During this party, you’ll only need a few spoonfuls of your delicious wine to use as you learn how to make some of our yummy Adult Truffles, made with love & alcohol.

We’ll bring all of the dry ingredients and all of the supplies needed for you to make and box up your delicious truffles! You’ll go home with approx. 20 truffles, depending on how many you taste along the way!

This is the last event of the season, and we will be closed for the winter season.

Seating is limited when inside, so please arrive early before the music begins. Outside seating is wide-open (weather permitting). Guests can bring food, blankets, picnic baskets, and lawn chairs for outside events.

FOR PARENTS: Blue Barn Winery asks that you keep your children with you while visiting the winery. Please be aware that the Blue Barn Winery is a fully operational farm and it is critical for the safety of children that parents have control of them while indoors and outdoors.
