Just in time for Sweetest Day, we’re on the road again to visit one of our favorite Wineries, located in Rootstown! We’ve planned this special party just for couples! So, bring your Mom, your bff or your ever favorite person to share this special experience!

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a complimentary glass of DELICIOUS wine from Barrel Run Crossing Winery, perfect to flavor your Adult Chocolate Truffles! We’ll have all of the supplies waiting for you and your guest to enjoy using our easy ‘no bake’, no cook’ method of making Adult Chocolate Truffles, made with love & alcohol!

We’ll also bring all of the supplies needed for you to box up your delicious truffles! Each couple will go home with 30 yummy chocolate truffles per couple (depending on how many you taste along the way!) Truffle shelf life is estimated at two months, they dry out over time.

Partake in a delectable multi-course meal paired with VPL Wines prepared and presented by Executive Chef Angus O’Hara, all while you enjoy the picturesque autumnal scenery of Pine Lake. In preparation for the annual NEOAG event (https://www.facebook.com/events/1718028264983596/), Grand River Cellars will be highlighting our two Austin’s wines at our weekly food and wine pairings. Our Austin’s Red will be featured with an olive tapenade & basil pesto crostini while our Austin Blush will be paired with cantaloupe, fresh mozzarella & fresh basil. We will also pair Red Zinfandel with blue cheese & buffalo chips and finish off with Riesling paired with brie & caramel sauce. Join us every Saturday at 12:30 or 1:30 for this fantastic event in our exclusive Wine Cave for an educational and informational tasting with small bites. Tastings generally last 30-40 minutes and can be followed by lunch upstairs in our main restaurant. Please call to sign up or visit Eventbrite for the 12:30pm or 1:30pm slot.

Start the evening with appetizers, cider pressing and apple butter tasting. Take a tour of the apple orchard and gardens with Farmpark’s horticulture education specialist. Then enjoy a delicious meal of pumpkin soup, apple braised pork osso buco, layered white and sweet potatoes and curried butternut squash with honey and candied pecans prepared by J&J Catering with wine pairing by Chalet Debonné!
