Class will be led by Katie Mullins, a local jewelry artist who has been teaching for 8 years. She has been exhibiting at local art and craft shows since 2006 and also sells on Etsy, Amazon Handmade and galleries.

Katie loves patterns, natural and man-made, and man’s ancient ornamental designs. These elements, combined with her life experiences and perspective, are the foundation of her inspiration and creativity.

Dubbed the “Hardest Working Man In Akron Show Business” American singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer, Jeff Klemm, based out of Northeast Ohio, best known for his work as MAID MYRIAD’s frontman and guitarist in the now defunct VIA LOTUS. His newest solo endeavor showcases his craft of songwriting and versatility playing all the instruments in the studio while performing live with JEFF KLEMM & THE LETTERS.

Klemm has performed his music all over the country many times over embarking on several national full band and solo acoustic tours averaging out to around 100 shows a year since 2012. His accomplished work as a sound engineer has been showcased prominently in national venues and mainstream radio stations.

Learn to paint your own masterpiece! Connie Kramer of Art Break will give friendly, no-pressure instruction–beginners welcome and encouraged! Relax, learn, and have a great time with friends old or new. Class size is limited to 20.

$40 includes all painting materials: 16 x 20 canvas, paint, palette, easel, smock, a complimentary glass of your favorite cider–up to six varieties of hard cider to choose from –and one appetizer-sized serving of cheese, bread and dipping oil.


Every Saturday in February Bent Ladder Cider & Winery is offering tours of their cider/wine making facility. Grab this chance for a look behind the scenes at the cider and wine making process capped off with a sampling. “We’ll vary the samplings from week to week depending on what’s happening with the ciders and wines at that time – you might be sampling the ciders currently on tap; tasting cider directly from the tanks or barrels; sipping a tank sample of one or two of the wines yet to be released; or even tasting freshly pressed apple juice. Tours are $5 and will begin promptly at 5:00pm and are limited to a maximum of 20 guests. All participants must be 21 years of age or older – please bring ID.
