Boos and Booze – Halloween Costume

A frightful night of haunting spirits and wicked brews Eat, drink and be scary at Gervasi’s Halloween costume party. This adults-only event in the covered Pavilion includes:

Sweet Treats & Tunes with The Rat Pack

Thursday September 10 @ 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM Celebrate the timeless music and wacky hi jinks of Frank, Dean and Sammy at Gervasi Vineyard in the open-air Pavilion. This is a show you won’t see anywhere else! Not only do they have a blast with the greatest hits of the Rat Pack, they also “pack” it full of all kinds of music from country to Motown. Damion Fontaine, Scott Brotherton and Stan Davis as Frank, Dean and Sammy … and more! Enjoy dinner at any of Gervasi’s restaurants before the show, but be sure to leave room for dessert! Included in your ticket is a plated dessert trio featuring raspberry lemon chiffon cake, chocolate pot de crème topped with Gervasi bourbon whip and tiramisu with Disaronno cream, paired with a glass of Prosecco. Red, White & BBQ

Celebrate July 4th at Gervasi! Join us (Gervasi Vineyards) for the Red, White and BBQ event! Celebrate July 4th at the Gervasi Vineyard Pavilion and enjoy a family-style BBQ meal with live music by Rolando. Each table will get ribs (16 bones), 16 pieces of chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob and strawberry chiffon cake. Any leftovers can be taken home. Table price includes ice tea and lemonade. Gervasi Vineyard Announces Diamond Anniversary Special Events

Canton, Ohio (January 21, 2020) Gervasi Vineyard is Celebrating a Diamond Anniversary and has several special promotions and celebratory events scheduled for the month of March 2020.

Gervasi Vineyard’s history began a decade ago when owner Ted Swaldo, inspired by Grandma Gervasi’s (maiden name) and the family’s traditional Italian ways and cooking, saw great potential in an overgrown 55-acre piece of land with a two-hundred-year-old barn all located on the edge of Canton.

Ted had a dream of creating a place for people to come to enjoy time together with an alluring bottle of Italian wine and traditional Italian food all served surrounded by their own specially designed slice of Tuscany.

Ted’s son, Scott Swaldo, is the general manager and has been overseeing all operations and development.

“We started with the restoration of the barn in 2009, we knew it had to have an Italian feel in the design,” Scott said. “The rustic elegance of the barn is one of the first things visitors notice. After the barn, we built the pavilion designed with the same elegance, grace and style.”

The Bistro, which initially occupied the upper level of the barn, was opened March 16, 2010. A few months later, The Piazza (the outdoor dining venue located immediately behind the barn) was opened, and the surrounding vineyards were planted. The Tuscan-style Pavilion was also added to the estate the summer of 2010 to host large-scale outdoor weddings and events.

Gervasi Vineyard has continued to evolve and is now a destination winery resort offering a place for celebrations of love, marriage, birthdays, special personal events…and life.

The property has become home to a winery inside The Crush House (October 2013); distillery (January 2019); several distinct restaurants including The Bistro, The Piazza, The Crush House, and The Still House (December 2018); The Villas and Villa Grande with 24 luxury overnight suites (October 2013); The Casa, an upscale boutique hotel with 24 additional luxury overnight suites (May 2019); and The Marketplace, a boutique gift shop.
