Acoustic Folk Music

Jim has shared stages with Nashville artist, Mary Gauthier at the Columbus Performing Arts Center, John Gorka at the Village Folk Festival as well as Peter Mulvey at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland. In ’08 he opened to a packed house at the Ritz Theatre in Tiffin for none other than Tommy James and The Shondells! In 2006 Jim was invited to write and perform three new songs for a production of The Laramie Project at Baldwin Wallace College. He finished first runner-up in the 2006 Pittsburgh Singer/Songwriter competition and, perhaps most notably, was a finalist in the 2006 Kerrville Folk Festival new song competition in Texas!

About the artists:

The Blue Collar Band is a crowd favorite, and you don’t have to listen long to find out why. These guys entertain the old fashioned way: excellent song selections, capable instrumentals and a dynamic lead singer that delivers on every song.

Made for the Mahoning Valley, hard working and professional, it’s impossible not to be drawn into and be carried away with their music.
