SUMMARY:Vintage & Vintner: Wine & History at Matus Winery
DESCRIPTION:Join us (Oberlin Heritage) as we explore another Lorain County winery and enjoy the fruits of the earth\, a splash of history\, and good company.  As you enter the winery\, you’ll be greeted by the smooth jazz guitar of musician Rich Holsworth.  Each guest will receive tickets for two glasses of wine\, and more will be available for purchase. Non-alcoholic refreshment and finger foods also will be provided\, along with a fun array of items to be raffled ($1/ticket). \nFollowing introductory remarks from the winery\, OHC Executive Director Liz Schultz will present a 15-minute mini program on The First Automobiles in Oberlin. Tickets for the event are $30/person (21 and up)\, and all proceeds benefit the Heritage Center’s Pat Murphy Endowment for Heritage Preservation.  Matus Winery is located at 15674 Gore Orphanage Road in Wakeman\, about an eight-mile drive from Oberlin.

DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for Buccia’s Winery in Conneaut on 7/24/18 at 6:00pm. Come and see the renovated winery and meet the new owners! Limited seats available. Cost varies and includes all supplies necessary to leave with a beautiful painted wooden sign and a glass of wine. These are done with a stencil so you don’t have to be crafty to get a great result. You might want to bring a t-shirt or apron to paint in. Please think about what colors you would like your sign to be in advance. You get to pick your background board color as well as your writing colors. There is no right or wrong. You do not need to let us know what colors you would like until the event. Think about were you will be hanging or placing it which will help you determine colors. Also due to time constraints\, you can only paint one sign.
