DESCRIPTION:We (Grand River Cellars) are excited to introduce Jen McKibben as our new Brushes & Lushes artist. She is an art teacher with the Madison Schools and it excited to take over! Jen will teach you to paint\, entertain you\, and enjoy wine along the way. The fee is 30$ per person or $25 for children and young adults (12-21). Your supplies will be included in the price as well as a glass of wine. Please call Grand River Cellars or visit Eventbrite to register; spots are limited! Come in early for dinner & receive 15% off your food bill!\nAll class registrations are non-refundable and may not be applied toward another class or event. If you’re unable to attend a class you’ve registered for\, you’re welcome to send someone in your place. If the winery has to cancel a class\, you’ll receive a full refund of your fee.

DESCRIPTION:Bent Science will be held every third Thursday at 7:00pm in the Bent Ladder Cider and Wine Tasting Room\, possibly forever. And\, oh yes – cider. Admission is free – bring your curiosity. \nEach month we’ll explore a different topic and expand our understanding of the world around us. Join us for Bent Science at Bent Ladder Cider and Wine – an evening of science at its most intriguing! Must be 21+. \nTHIS MONTH: \nJoyce Pelz of the the Greater Akron Audubon Society will introduce the audience to some of the common bird species that can be seen and heard in our region. She will also discuss some of the things that can be done to attract birds\, including food\, feeders\, and appropriate landscaping. \nThe Greater Akron Audubon Society chapter of the National Audubon Society serves Summit County and portions of the surrounding counties. They have meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month with programs on topics related to birds and the environment. They also participate in many citizen science endeavors such as the annual Christmas Bird Count. More information about the chapter and their activities can be found atwww.akronaudubon.org. \nAll guests must be 21 and over after 6:00pm Thank you!
