DESCRIPTION:Join the Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market and Breitenbach Winery for the 2nd Annual Holiday Market on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (November 21st) from 3:00 to 7:00pm at The Tool Shed at Breitenbach Winery! Come shop for fresh\, local\, in-season produce just in time for your Thanksgiving meal as well as one-of-a-kind gifts to get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping. \nChoose from a wide variety of locally grown and produced items to create the perfect Thanksgiving meal\, including potatoes\, carrots\, beets\, onions\, kale\, lettuce\, cabbage\, sweet potatoes\, Brussels sprouts\, broccoli\, cauliflower\, squash\, turkey*\, beef\, chicken\, pork\, goat\, eggs\, salad dressings\, dips\, maple syrup\, cookies\, pies and pie crust\, breads and rolls\, organic teas\, and more! \nThere is still time to pre-order your Thanksgiving turkey through Market vendor The Shepherd’s Market. Pre-ordered turkeys will be available for pickup at the Holiday Market and properly defrosted so they will be ready for immediate preparation for your Thanksgiving meal. *Pre-order your turkey by calling/texting 330-390-4783 or emailing shepherdsmarket@embarqmail.com. Orders will be taken until November 15th. \nCome hungry because Bahler Street Pizza will be cooking up wood-fired pizzas\, and they will have a small campfire where patrons can make complimentary s’mores. Amish Country Donuts will also be set up on site\, offering their big and tasty donuts. \nAs you shop\, enjoy live Christmas music by Barefoot McCoy from 3:00 to 4:15\, Sharon Gustkey from 4:20 to 5:35\, and the Kodachrome Babies from 5:40 to 7:00. \nMake plans to attend holiday cooking demonstrations with Hennis Care Centre Chef Matt Ridgway\, who will use products available at the Holiday Market to create festive dishes to complement your Thanksgiving meal. At 4:00\, Chef Ridgway will demonstrate how to make roasted root vegetable crostini with a beet purée\, and at 6:00 learn how to make a three-cheese cauliflower gratin to serve this holiday season. \nAdmission is FREE\, and like last year\, it’s going to be a lot of fun\, so we hope to see you there!
