The Art of Making Jelly

Join us for a fun-filled and informative afternoon at Laurello’s as you observe the art of making jelly-just in time for holiday gift giving. In an entertaining way, guest instructor Cara Mia will demonstrate the process of turning grapes – our Concords – into delicious jelly.
The afternoon highlights will include:
  • Canning equipment: what you “must own” & what you really don’t need
  • Canning safety
  • Making the jelly!
  • Science facts: think like Alton Brown
  • Problem solving: canning can & will go wrong on occasion
  • Questions & discussion
Cost: $20 per person
Includes a jar of jelly to take home and light appetizers while you learn.  Bring a friend to share in the fun.
