After slowly cooling throughout the past millennium, Earth has substantially warmed over the last 40 years. There is a strong scientific consensus that this warming is caused by human emission of greenhouse gases. There also is a substantial discrepancy between this scientific consensus and perceptions of the general public regarding climate change.
Join us as Dan Herms, Retired Professor of Entomolgy at The Ohio State University helps us examine the evidence for anthropogenic climate change and the roots of this discrepancy.
Each month we’ll explore a different topic and expand our understanding of the world around us. Next up: Koji and Other Fermentations, November 16, 2017 at 7:00pm.
Bent Science Salons will be held every third Thursday at 7:00pm in the Bent Ladder Cider and Wine Tasting Room, possibly forever. Admission is free – bring your curiosity.
