Join us for a fun-filled and informative afternoon at Laurello’s as you observe the art of making jelly-just in time for holiday gift giving. In an entertaining way, guest instructor Cara Mia will demonstrate the process of turning grapes – our Concords – into delicious jelly.
The afternoon highlights will include:
- Canning equipment: what you “must own” & what you really don’t need
- Canning safety
- Making the jelly!
- Science facts: think like Alton Brown
- Problem solving: canning can & will go wrong on occasion
- Questions & discussion
Cost: $20 per person
