Bent Science: Birds in Your Backyard

March 15, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Bent Science will be held every third Thursday at 7:00pm in the Bent Ladder Cider and Wine Tasting Room, possibly forever. And, oh yes – cider. Admission is free – bring your curiosity.

Each month we’ll explore a different topic and expand our understanding of the world around us. Join us for Bent Science at Bent Ladder Cider and Wine – an evening of science at its most intriguing! Must be 21+.

THIS MONTH:

Joyce Pelz of the the Greater Akron Audubon Society will introduce the audience to some of the common bird species that can be seen and heard in our region. She will also discuss some of the things that can be done to attract birds, including food, feeders, and appropriate landscaping.

The Greater Akron Audubon Society chapter of the National Audubon Society serves Summit County and portions of the surrounding counties. They have meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month with programs on topics related to birds and the environment. They also participate in many citizen science endeavors such as the annual Christmas Bird Count. More information about the chapter and their activities can be found atwww.akronaudubon.org.

All guests must be 21 and over after 6:00pm Thank you!
